Privacy Policy

Controller and contact

The data controller is Servando Isaac Molina Teran, operating as Quant Vault, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number 01163712.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email info@quantvault.ai. This policy covers SI Companion only; other products using the Quant Vault name have their own services and privacy information.

What is used and why

Information comes from you, the sign-in or Google services you choose to connect, and the device features you enable.

• Account and settings: account identifier, sign-in provider, display name and language/settings, to sign you in and provide your preferences.
• Chats and voice: messages, voice audio you choose to send for live conversation or transcription, and generated replies. General-purpose voice sessions can save both sides' transcript turns to your account. Temporary voice sessions, memory-training sessions and personality-test sessions do not save call transcripts.
• Tasks and saved content: tasks, saved memories, translations, meal entries, action proposals and receipts, and usage/service records, to provide and maintain those features.
• Google data, if separately connected: Gmail messages and metadata, calendars/events/availability, Drive file metadata and Google Docs content, only as needed for features you request. The app can prepare drafts and propose changes. It asks you to confirm before supported external changes are applied. See the Google data-use disclosure.
• Contacts and routes: on iPhone, you choose an individual contact using Apple's contact picker. SI Companion does not upload or sync your address book. If you request a route, the chosen or typed origin and destination, and optionally your device location, are sent to map, search or routing services.
• Health information, if enabled: HealthKit readings are displayed locally. If you explicitly request a day briefing and choose to include health totals, yesterday's active energy, exercise minutes and sleep duration are sent to SI Companion and OpenAI for that briefing and saved with it for up to 24 hours. SI Companion reads, but does not write, HealthKit data.
• Device and notification information: when you enable notifications, an Apple push-notification token and delivery status are associated with your account to deliver alerts. Face ID is handled by iOS; SI Companion does not receive biometric templates or measurements.

How information is used

Information is used to provide features you request, manage your account and connected services, keep the service secure and reliable, meter usage, and respond to support requests. Where processing is needed to provide a feature or account you request, the legal ground is performance of that service. Optional integrations, microphone use, location and Health features are controlled through your choices and device permissions; sensitive Health information is included in a briefing only when you choose to include it. Security and abuse prevention may rely on the operator's legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.

AI-generated answers can be incomplete or incorrect. They are assistance, not professional advice. The app is not designed to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you; review suggestions and confirm external actions yourself.

When information leaves the app

SI Companion does not sell personal information or use Google user data for advertising. Information is shared with providers only as needed for the feature you use:

• OpenAI: voice audio, transcription, chat prompts, and selected email, calendar, document or briefing content when you request an AI response or action. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train models by default. Its standard abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days, with exceptions and controls depending on the account and endpoint. This is not a promise of zero provider retention.
• Google: sign-in and the Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Docs services you choose to connect.
• Cloudflare: operates the SI Companion service and its account database.
• Apple: sign-in, HealthKit on your device and Apple Push Notification service when those features are used.
• Map services: OpenStreetMap map tiles, Photon place search by Komoot, and OSRM route calculations. When you request map or route features, the relevant query or coordinates are sent to those services.

These providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area under their own service terms and privacy practices. Their retention and international-transfer arrangements may differ. Review the providers' current policies before connecting or using their services.

How long information is kept

• Chat history can be set to keep until you delete it or to expire after 30, 90 or 365 days. Saved memories may have an expiry date and can be deleted in the app.
• Health totals included in a day briefing are kept with that briefing for up to 24 hours.
• Google connection tokens are encrypted before storage. Disconnect a Google service in SI Companion or revoke access in your Google Account settings.
• In-app account deletion removes your account and account-linked records covered by the deletion flow. Backup copies, security records and third-party provider logs can have separate retention periods and may not disappear at the same time as active account data.

Deleting your SI Companion account does not delete original messages, events or documents in Google. See account deletion instructions. You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your information by contacting support. We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.

Requests and complaints

Depending on your circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@quantvault.ai to make a request. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new update date. If a change materially affects how your information is used, SI Companion will provide an in-app notice where appropriate.
